What is Training Partner Affiliation?
Training Partner Affiliation with the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) is a formal recognition granted to training service providers who meet the Council’s standards to deliver high-quality skill development programs in the Life Sciences sector. Affiliated partners are authorized to train individuals in alignment with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and LSSSDC guidelines.
This affiliation ensures standardization, industry relevance, and nationwide credibility for training organizations dedicated to building a skilled and future-ready workforce in the Life Sciences sector.
Who Can Become an Affiliated Training Partner With LSSSDC?
LSSSDC invites applications for Training Partner Affiliation from a wide range of organizations engaged in skill development within the Life Sciences sector. Eligible entities include:
- Training Companies specializing in vocational skills or corporate training
- Industry-aligned Skill Development Organizations.
- Sector-focused Consulting and Workforce Development Firms.
- Private Training Providers (excluding schools, colleges, or universities).
- Non-profit Organizations or CSR-funded Initiatives delivering training in life sciences skill areas.

Becoming an affiliated Training Partner of LSSSDC offers multiple advantages:
- National Recognition: Affiliation with LSSSDC enables Training Partners to enhance their reputation by being associated with an officially recognized Sector Skill Council under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
- Access to Standards:Deliver training programs based on QP-NOS (Qualification Packs – National Occupational Standards) developed in consultation with industry experts.

- Assessment & Certification: Enable your trainees to undergo standardized assessments and earn nationally recognized certifications from the LSSSDC.

Types of Affiliation
LSSSDC offers affiliation under two main categories based on training alignment:
1. NSQF-Aligned Affiliation
This category applies to training programs aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
- A&A (Accreditation & Affiliation) Model
In the A&A Model, the training partner is responsible for delivering training aligned with LSSSDC-approved Qualification Packs (QPs). However, the assessment and certification are conducted independently by LSSSDC or its authorized assessment agencies. This ensures transparency, standardized evaluation, and industry-recognized certification.
- Non A&A (Non-Accreditation & Affiliation) Model
In the Non A&A Model, the training partners are authorized to both train and assess candidates as per LSSSDC guidelines. The assessment and certification are conducted independently by LSSSDC or its authorized assessment agencies.
- Academic Model (For colleges/universities only)

2. Non-NSQF Affiliation
This category is meant for training partners delivering customized or industry-specific programs that are not directly aligned with NSQF but fall within the scope of the Life Sciences sector.
- Suitable for new hires onboarding, refresher programs, or regulatory compliance training
- Certification and assessment frameworks can be designed in collaboration with LSSSDC.
Affiliation Process Overview 
- Application form Submission: Submit application form and all supported documents in soft copy via email to LSSSDC affiliation department.
- Document Scrutiny: LSSSDC affiliation team will review the submitted application and verifies documentation for compliance.
- Due Diligence: A technical and quality team may conduct a physical or virtual inspection of training infrastructure, training, and systems.
- Approval & MoU Signing: Upon successful evaluation, the organization enter into an Affiliation Agreement with LSSSDC.
- Onboarding & Access: Affiliated partners receive access to LSSSDC’s training standards, assessment protocols, and operational support to begin program delivery.

Applicants are required to provide the following:
- Company Registration/Incorporation Certificate
- PAN and GST Registration Certificates
- Organizational Profile with details of training experience
- Training profiles (CVs, qualifications, certifications)
- Infrastructure details (training facility, equipment, labs, if applicable)
- Previous training records (if any)
- Quality Certifications (ISO, etc. - if available)
- Any relevant MOUs or collaborations
