Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council has taken the initiative to develop a Certification Scheme for Medical Device Consultants in accordance with the International Standard for Personnel Certification, ISO/IEC 17024:2012.
LSSSDC, as the Scheme Owner, aims to promote uniformity in the implementation of certification among the Personnel Certification Bodies, thereby developing an ecosystem for the certification of Medical Devices Consultants.
The objective of this document is to define the process for certifying Medical Device Consultants under the LSSSDC mandate.
This Certification Scheme Manual defines the structure, requirements, and processes for certification of Medical Device Consultants. The scheme establishes a structured mechanism to assess competence, ensure consistency, and enhance confidence in professional consulting services in the medical device domain.
